AMI Airport Shuttle Guy launched just before Christmas 2023 with a mission to solve the airport transfer problem for AMI visitors. All rides are private shuttles — no shared vans. The Monkey Bus
AMI's most fun way to get around — $5/person, noon daily, kids 10 & under free
The Monkey Bus is a fleet of colorful small buses that take both locals and visitors anywhere on Anna Maria Island, the Village of Cortez, or Palma Sola Causeway — for just $5 per person. Kids 10 and under ride free. Under new ownership since June 2022 with new buses added regularly. Drivers take music requests, answer island questions, and make every ride an experience. Open noon daily.

Uber & Lyft
Uber and Lyft both operate at Sarasota Bradenton International (SRQ) — which has a dedicated, shaded rideshare pickup area. Tampa International (TPA) has excellent rideshare availability around the clock. Availability can be limited late at night or during peak travel times, so private car services are recommended for early morning or late-night flights. Download the app before you arrive.
