AMI Historical Society Museum
FreeThe island's 1920 icehouse turned history museum
Right on Pine Avenue, the AMIHS Museum is housed in the original 1920 icehouse. Tour Belle Haven cottage (built 1920, fell into the bay in 1926, rescued and restored), walk the mangrove path, and photograph yourself in the old 1927 jail — now a beloved tourist attraction with cheeky sayings on the bars.
