Sponsored by the Anna Maria Art League, Springfest is a two-day outdoor arts festival with 80+ artists selling jewelry, sculpture, paintings, and handmade crafts. Live music, food, and kid-friendly art activities. Running for over 35 years.

📍Holmes Beach → The Center on Magnolia Ave

One of AMI's most festive annual events. The parade begins at City Hall in Holmes Beach and winds through town ending at The Center. Floats, music, green beads, and candy. After the parade, many head to local Irish pubs.

📍Pine Ave & Bridge Street

Stroll Pine Avenue and Bridge Street while local galleries, shops, and restaurants open their doors for an evening of art, food, and community. Live music, artist demonstrations, and local treats.

📍Anna Maria Island Historical Museum, 402 Pine Ave

The Anna Maria Island Historical Society's annual Heritage Day celebration. Features historical exhibits, fundraising, and a look at the island's rich past.

The AMI Chamber of Commerce hosts its annual Business Card Exchange alongside the Historical Society's Pat Copeland Scholarship Awards. A community networking and celebration event.

One of the busiest weekends on AMI. Beaches fill up, restaurants extend hours, and many venues host live music and special events. Book accommodations and dining well in advance.

Several AMI venues host outdoor summer concert series throughout the season. Check Harry's Grill, Island Time Bar & Grill, and Freckled Fin for schedules. The AMI Green Market also features live music on select Saturdays.

📍Coquina Beach → Bay Front Park

AMI's biggest summer celebration. The Anna Maria Privateers parade starts at Coquina Beach and travels the length of the island to Bay Front Park. Patriotic floats, music, and festive fun. Evening fireworks light up the sky — typically two or three shows across the island.

📍Various marinas

August brings several fishing tournaments to AMI's waters. Check with local charter operators and the AMI Chamber for current tournament schedules. Great spectator events at the docks.

📍Bowlero, Bradenton

A fun community fundraiser benefiting The Center of Anna Maria Island. Hosted by Holmes Beach-based LaPensee Plumbing, this annual bowling tournament brings the community together for a good cause.

📍Pine Avenue, Anna Maria City

The largest annual event on Anna Maria Island, hosted by the AMI Chamber of Commerce. This lively street festival fills Pine Avenue with food, drinks, live music, arts and crafts vendors, a car show, and family activities. Free admission. Take the trolley — street parking is very limited.

Anna Maria Island honors its veterans with an annual parade. The Privateers' vessel 'Skullywag' often makes an appearance alongside patriotic floats and community organizations.

Each of AMI's three cities hosts its own Holiday Walkabout on a different weekend night in December — so you can attend all three! Tree lightings, festive decorations, live music, and local shop specials. A magical island holiday tradition.

Bradenton Beach closes Bridge Street for a festive holiday celebration with live music, vendors, and community spirit. A beloved local tradition that draws residents and visitors alike.

Festively decorated boats parade down the Manatee River after dark, competing for the title of best decorated. Best viewed from the Green Bridge or Palmetto Pier. Begins around 6pm when it's dark enough for the lights to shine.
